The Significance of APSC CCE

APSC CCE Syllabus: General Studies Paper-I

It comprises 100 questions from the following topics, carrying  200 marks to be solved in 2 hours.

It comprises 80 questions from the following topics carrying a maximum of 200 marks to be solved in 2 hours.

Candidates must achieve a minimum qualifying mark in Paper II, while the score from Paper I is utilized for merit ranking. Effective preparation for the Prelims requires a strong focus on current events, static subjects, and practice for CSAT-related problems.

APSC CCE Main Examination Syllabus

The Main examination assesses a candidate’s in-depth knowledge and analytical skills. It consists of six descriptive papers: one essay paper, three General Studies papers, one Ethics paper, and one paper specific to Assam.

The total marks for the Main examination are 1500, and the preparation requires a strategic approach to integrate dynamic and static content.
