ABOCWWB NEET JEE Coaching Results

In a landmark initiative to advance educational opportunities for the children of Assam’s construction workers and labour community, the Assam Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (ABOCWWB) has officially declared the results of its highly anticipated Free NEET/JEE Coaching Program. The selected candidates will receive free coaching at SPM IAS Academy, one of the region’s premier institutions for competitive examination preparation.

About the Initiative

The Free NEET/JEE Coaching Program under ABOCWWB is a welfare scheme specifically designed to provide equal educational opportunities to deserving students from the construction labour community of Assam. Recognising that financial constraints often stand as a major barrier between talented students and quality education, the ABOCWWB has partnered with SPM IAS Academy to bridge this critical gap.

NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) and JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) are among the most competitive entrance examinations in India, serving as gateway tests for admission to premier medical and engineering institutions respectively. These examinations demand months, if not years, of rigorous and focused preparation, which typically requires expensive coaching that is beyond the reach of families in the unorganised labour sector.

Eligibility Criteria

The scholarship is exclusively available to candidates who satisfy the following mandatory eligibility requirements:

  • Possession of a valid e-Shram Card, which serves as an identification document for unorganised sector workers registered under the Government of India’s e-Shram portal.
  • Possession of a valid Nirman Sakhi (Labour Card), issued by the ABOCWWB, confirming that the applicant’s parent or guardian is a registered construction worker under the Board.

Both documents must be valid and current at the time of availing the scholarship benefit. Candidates who are unable to produce either of these documents will not be eligible to enrol in the coaching program, even if they have been listed in the result sheet.

Result Declaration – Key Highlights

A total of 99 candidates have been declared selected in the current round of the Free NEET/JEE Coaching Program. The result sheet, officially published through the Google Sheets portal shared by SPM IAS Academy, lists each selected candidate along with their respective rank, full name, ABOCWWB Roll Number, and selection status.

The selected candidates represent a wide cross-section of communities across Assam, reflecting the inclusive nature of this initiative. From Rank 1 (Enayet Zarjees, Roll No. ABOCWWB/6541) to Rank 99 (Pranjana Barman, Roll No. ABOCWWB/1077), all listed candidates have been marked as “SELECTED” for the coaching program.

Waiting List Provisions

ABOCWWB has also made provisions for candidates who have been placed on the Waiting List. According to the official notification, students on the Waiting List may also be offered the opportunity to avail of the scholarship, subject to conditions determined by the organisation and the fulfilment of the prescribed eligibility criteria. This ensures that in the event of any vacancy due to non-compliance by a selected candidate, the benefit can be extended to the next deserving candidate in the waiting list.

About SPM IAS Academy

SPM IAS Academy is a well-established coaching institution in Assam known for its comprehensive preparation programmes for competitive examinations including UPSC, APSC, NEET, and JEE. The Academy has been associated with several government and welfare initiatives in the state, making quality education accessible to students from all economic backgrounds. The collaboration between ABOCWWB and SPM IAS Academy for this programme reflects a shared commitment to transforming the educational landscape for the underprivileged youth of Assam.

Significance of the Programme

This initiative is a crucial step towards social equity in education. The children of construction workers – a community that forms the backbone of Assam’s infrastructure development – often lack access to the kind of quality coaching available to their more privileged peers. By providing free NEET and JEE coaching, ABOCWWB is not merely offering academic support; it is investing in the future of these young aspirants and enabling them to compete on an equal footing in one of the most competitive academic arenas in the country.

Such welfare-driven programmes also play a vital role in motivating families from the labour community to encourage their children to pursue higher education and professional careers in medicine and engineering – fields that are critical to national development. Initiatives like these send a powerful message: that socioeconomic background need not determine one’s academic destiny.

Next Steps for Selected Candidates

Selected candidates are advised to:

  1. Verify their name and Roll Number in the official result sheet published by SPM IAS Academy.
  2. Ensure that their e-Shram Card and Nirman Sakhi (Labour Card) are valid and up to date.
  3. Contact SPM IAS Academy for further enrolment instructions, document submission, and batch commencement details.
  4. Monitor official communications from ABOCWWB and SPM IAS Academy for any updates regarding orientation schedules and batch timings.

Conclusion

The announcement of the results for the Free NEET/JEE Coaching Program under ABOCWWB is a moment of great significance for the 99 selected candidates and their families. It represents not just an opportunity for academic excellence, but a transformative chance to shape a better future. The ABOCWWB and SPM IAS Academy are to be commended for their sustained effort in making this initiative a reality, and it is hoped that such programmes will be expanded and continued in the years to come.

Congratulations to all selected candidates! Your hard work and determination have brought you to this milestone. The journey ahead is challenging, but with the right guidance and unwavering commitment, success in NEET and JEE is well within your reach.
